Can't stop feeling

Jep, another submit again. I really like drawing, it's a great timeout from learning I can't spend so much time on drawing one single picture, there's one point where I don't want do go on and have to say "ok, so it's finished now". For this piece I spent quite much time.

For the hand I've used a reference photo of my own.

Didn't have any idea what to draw as background that doesn't take much time. So that strange mix of colors was the result. Any suggestions?
Is it to dark?
